While the incidence/frequency of workplace fatalities declined significantly in Australia and other rich countries during the 20th century, this trend has stalled. This presentation by Michael Quinlan, Emeritus professor of industrial relations at UNSW Sydney, argues that this is because regulators, industry and unions fail to focus on 10 pathways that are repeatedly associated with death at work.
